Pilleriin Lillemets joined the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence in October 2018. As the Department Head Project Lead for Cyberspace Operations Discipline, she is responsible for identifying and coordinating education and training solutions in the field of cyber defence operations for all NATO bodies across the Alliance.
Her prior professional career includes several positions at the Estonian Ministry of Defence since 2013, both in the International Co-operation and NATO and European Union Department. Prior to joining the NATO CCD CoE, she was working as the lecturer in Defence and Cyber Studies at the Baltic Defence College in Tartu, Estonia
Pilleriin Lillemets holds a Master of Social Sciences Degree from the University of Helsinki, where she graduated from the Master’s Degree Programme in European Studies, majoring in Political History. In addition she holds a B.A. from University of Tartu, both on Contemporary History as well as Journalism and Communication.
