Pilleriin Lillemets joined the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence in October 2018. Leading the NATO Cyberspace Operations Education and Training Department Head function at the CCDCOE, she is responsible for defining and coordinating E&T solutions in the field of cyberspace operations for all NATO bodies across the Alliance.
Her prior professional career includes several positions at the Estonian Ministry of Defence since 2013, both in the International Co-operation and NATO and European Union Department. Prior to joining the NATO CCDCOE, she was working as the lecturer in Defence and Cyber Studies at the Baltic Defence College in Tartu, Estonia.
Pilleriin Lillemets holds a Master of Social Sciences Degree from the University of Helsinki, where she graduated from the Master’s Degree Programme in European Studies, majoring in Political History. In addition, she holds a B.A. from University of Tartu, both on Contemporary History as well as Journalism and Communication.
