Liina Lumiste

Law Researcher

Liina Lumiste joined the CCDCOE in April 2019 as international law researcher.

Prior to joining the CCDCOE she worked as a legal counsel for the Ministry of Education and Research.  From 2018, Liina is also adjunct lecturer on legal argumentation and international criminal law at the University of Tartu. Her research interests include public international law, the legislative processes of international law, non-state actors in international law, international humanitarian law and international criminal law.

Liina holds a master’s degree in law from University of Tartu and in January 2020, she started PhD studies in the University of Tartu School of Law.
