Registration now open for CyCon 2026: Securing Tomorrow

The 18th International Conference on Cyber Conflict, CyCon 2026, will take place in Tallinn, Estonia, from 27 to 29 May, and will be preceded by a Workshop Day on 26 May. The registration is now open on the CyCon website.

CyCon, organised by the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence, has established itself as a prominent interdisciplinary conference and community-building event, showcasing the latest research and facilitating discussion on the most topical technical, policy, legal, and military issues related to cyberspace and its impact on our societies.

The theme of the 18th iteration is ‘Securing Tomorrow’. The pace of technological development shows no sign of slowing. Each breakthrough in connectivity, computing, and automation shapes a world that is more dependent on digital systems and evermore vulnerable to their disruption. As we innovate, we must also anticipate. Securing tomorrow begins now, with the decisions we make and the strategies we set in motion today.

The conference addresses topics such as how cyber operations are reshaping modern conflict, how NATO is building a resilient, mission-ready cyber posture, the rise of AI-driven and agentic systems in cyber offense and defence, and cyber incident response in critical infrastructure, among others.

These and other topics will be addressed by more than 100 speakers on the CyCon stage. The welcoming address at the 18th CyCon will be delivered by Alar Karis, President of Estonia. Keynote speakers include, among others, Jean-Charles Ellermann-Kingombe, NATO Assistant Secretary General for Cyber Defence and Digital Transformation; Brigadier General Oleksandr Potii, Chairman of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine. Original academic contributions submitted in response to the Call for Papers will be presented on stage and published in the conference proceedings.
