CyCon 2022 Theme is ´Keep Moving`

At the last day of CyCon 2021 the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE) announced the theme for CyCon 2022 to be ´Keep Moving`. CyCon 2021 joined virtually around 800 participants from 57 countries around the globe. Among them more than 70 experts from the government, military, academia and private sector contributed to CyCon 2021 as speakers. Video recordings of all CyCon 2021 keynotes and sessions will be made available in a few weeks.

In his closing statement Director of the CCDCOE, Col Jaak Tarien, announced the theme for CyCon 2022: “Global efforts are being made to leave the state we are currently in and we realize that some issues have not gone away while others have newly emerged. There is no doubt that our society’s dependence on cyberspace will only grow. While we do not know how exactly that will play out, it is clear that both literally and figuratively, we have to keep moving.”

“At CyCon 2022 let’s talk not only about what we have learned in the past 18 months, but also about cyber security in transportation and about military mobility,” added Col Tarien. “We do not know whether we will meet online, or physically in Tallinn, or both, but we will meet!”

CyCon 2022 Call for Papers is expected to be published soon too.
