Ethics in Cyber Security Workshop Registration Deadline Approaching

Workshop on Ethics and Policies for Cyber Warfare takes place on November 11-12, 2014 at Magdalen College, University of Oxford. Registration deadline for the free-of-charge event is November 1st.

The workshop will address the regulatory gap concerning cyber warfare and the ethical problems underpinning it. Participants include ethicists, experts in military studies, international lawyers, policymakers and experts in cyber security.

Confirmed speakers include Prof. Luciano Floridi (Professor of Philosophy and Ethics of Information, Oxford Internet Institute), Dr Mariarosaria Taddeo, (Uehiro, Centre for Practical Ethics, University of Oxford), Professor Paul Cornish (Strategy &Security Strategy, University of Exeter, UK ), Dr Marco Roscini (Westminster Law School), Prof. Pompeu Casanovas (Professor of Philosophy and Sociology of Law at the UAB Law School), Prof. Neil Rowe (Department of Computer Science, U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, United States).
