Dr Sandro Gayken

Dr. Sandro Gaycken is a researcher in technology and security at the Freie Universität Berlin. In addition to his research, Sandro Gaycken consults international security institutions, companies in IT, finance and defense, and policy-making bodies. He has testified as a subject-matter expert in many hearings in German and European politics. From 2012 to 2013, he served as the cybersecurity policy strategist within the Policy Planning Staff of the German Minister of Foreign Affairs, tasked with the design of a foreign policy strategy on cybersecurity and Internet freedom.
